The Tao Ci (“ceramics” in Chinese) Project is a collaborative project which aims to construct the ontology of the ceramic vases of the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, and to publish it on the Semantic Web for the use of anybody interested, including museums hosting collections of these vessels.
